Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
This producer is now in receivership, but the outstanding 2006 vintage is the best since 2001 No longer grown solely in the Omihi Hills Vineyard, the 2006 was from 'selected plots within our Omihi vineyards'. Matured for 15 months in one and two-year-old casks, and bottled without fining or filtration, it is deeply coloured, mouthfilling and fruit-crammed. Full of youthful vigour, it has rich cherry, plum and spice flavours, supple tannins and obvious potential; open 2010+.
