D'Arenberg Feral Fox Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
You name it, D'Arenberg makes it - and usually makes it well. It has been a modern success story over the past twenty-odd years (though its wine history goes back a lot further than that), and its current range is in fine form. A lot of people find pinot noir a little 'light'; if you're in that camp, you might want to try this. It's big by pinot standards, with warm, gritty, toasty oak flavour laying over flavours of sweet red berries and dried herbs. We agree: it doesn't sound great, and it isn't, but it's still a pretty handy drink, especially with food. Gourmet sausages would be good.
