Rob Geddes MW (2008 Vintage) says
Intense and complex with exotic toffees, caramelised fruit and tropical fruit with a zingy line of acidity and massive length.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Lavish levels of botrytis, with the inherent structure of riesling, leaves a very sweet wine that is clean, vibrant and with good levels of acidity.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
One of the quiet little stars in the d'Arenberg arsenal, this packs plenty of riesling character, spicy and chock-full of botrytis characters - apricot and floral honey. Concentrated candied orange-rind flavours, some ginger, iced tea and apricot nectar on the palate, super-rich unctuous texture, all pulled into balance.

Has considerable intensity, though little of the finesse a wine from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer would have with similar alcohol and residual sugar.

Brassy gold; extremely intense and rich, with a huge botrytis impact; sugar on a stick, yet still ends up with 14° alcohol. Amazing.

Golden colour; an extremely intense and complex bouquet of crystallised ginger; less sweet on the palate than expected, but has character. Drink soon.
