From 125-year-old vines, basked-pressed and barrel-fermented with partial mlf; the free-run juice was cold-fermented for 3 months in stainless steel; the barrel and tank components were then matured on stirred lees for another 9 months. It is every bit as powerful and complex as the protracted making would suggest, reaching a crescendo on the finish.
