2013 was a warm season producing quite ripe flavours. Merlot in particular produced concentrated flavours of dark fruits and spice. Winemaking: Fruit is fermented in 20T rotary fermenters for 7-10 days. The fruit is then pressed, settled and partially matured in French oak casks for 10 months before bottling. Some wine is retained in tanks for freshness.

Appearance: Dark red with purple.

Palate: Classic juicy style with richness and softness. Black fruits, rich flavours, juicy, soft, textural, good mouthfeel.

Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for three to four years.
Nose: Free range chicken, red peppers and peas.

Alcohol: 14.0%
