De Bortoli DB Shiraz Cabernet

Expert Reviews

Regan Drew (2009 Vintage) says
The De Bortoli family have got wine making quality at all price points nailed and this is yet another goal kicked. A rich, deep, blood plum/cherry/blackberry nose with some sweet vanillan oak and a little spirit. The palate is full and lush, if a little simple, but at this price point, there's no complaints about getting sweetness from fruit and not alcohol. There's a little meatiness/fattiness/smokiness that gives it a little more than your usual mid-week pizza quaffer.
