De Bortoli Rococo Rose

Cracka Review

Appearance - Very pale pink.

Bouquet - Creamy, petal like aromas that are perfumed and complex.

Palate - A soft, light wine with perfectly ripe flavours of raspberries, cherries and strawberries mingled with a splash of pink.

De Bortoli Wine Reviews and Accolades

"A sophisticated sister to De Bortoli's newish Rococo Blanc de Blancs sparkling. It's a dominant blend of chardonnay, pinot noir (14 per cent) and pinot meunier (8 per cent), creamy and complex with fragrant rose petal notes on the nose, sweetish red berry fruit flavours, a fine persistent bead and a crisp, dry finish. Drink as an aperitif. - Kerry Skinner for the Illawarra Mercury, January 2010

"A blend of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir from the Yarra Valley, this has a floral touch with cherry and strawberry fruit on the nose and palate, with some creaminess and a fine acid finish." - 91 Points, Courier Mail, December 2010

De Bortoli Rococo Rose

Expert Reviews

Tyson Stelzer says
The higher up the prestige rosé ladder one ascends, the more finesse and restraint are encountered. This bargain offering clearly skipped a few rungs on the ladder. Its subtle strawberry hull and rose petal flavours make it an ultra-classy offering at a phenomenal price.
