Devil's Lair Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Review

COLOUR - Pale straw with fluorescent white hues.

NOSE - Typically Margaret River - white stone fruit, melon and blood orange! Subtle oak and nougat characters coming through. Very youthful.

PALATE - Full yet restrained. A fine linear palate with refreshing citrus acidity, surrounded by lovely honey nut character. A youthful wine that will blossom with age.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Vibrant colour; guava and nettle bouquet; rich and ripe palate, with a food-friendly textural element that is most appealing.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Plenty of weight, depth and structure, only the vintage taking the edge off the fruit expression, steering it towards Semillon in character.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
A handy premium-pitched Margaret River sauvignon blanc that deploys clever winemaking to heighten the aromatics. Ripe passionfruit and guava, some regional grassy notes and plenty of palate richness. Fuller than most, a little raw and punchy through the finish.
