Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The typically classy 2009 vintage was hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 17 months in French oak barriques (50 per cent new). Full ruby, with a fragrant, spicy, savoury bouquet, it is mouthfilling, ripe and supple, with lovely cherry, plum and spice flavours, slightly nutty and complex. Finely poised, it offers delicious drinking from now onwards

The classy 2007 vintage was hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 18 months in French oak barriques (50 per cent new). Full-coloured, it is highly fragrant, with ripe plum and spice aromas, seasoned with quality oak. Sweet-fruited and supple, it is very savoury and complex, with lovely texture and harmony. Drink now or cellar.
