James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
A 70/25% blend, with 5% petit verdot. The colour is very good for the vintage; the varietal expression and generosity is little short remarkable, with cassis, plum and black olive in abundance, supported by ripw tannins. 14% alc.

A full-bodied fleshy blend that delivers loads of blackcurrant fruit plus the inevitable regional flourish of dark chocolate.

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
We didn't much like this at first, but when we came back to the bottle - the following day - it tasted much better. Some wines are like this - they just need a good hit of air to show their best. There's still not a whole lot here, but it offers a reasonable serve of clean, ripe flavour and it has a good, juicy, puppyish feel. It tastes of chocolate, blueberries, summer flowers and mint, the input of vanillin oak only slight. There's a touch of herbal bitterness, but the finish is otherwise satisfying.
