James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
fascinating wine, fermented using wild yeasts and kept on lees for six months, with no fining agents used or any acid added (and not needed with a PH of 31 and t/a of 6.75 g/l) It has a great structure from its minerally backbone and citrus expands dramatically on the finish and aftertaste. Top stuff 12% alc.

Mandarin and an element of slate are present on the bouquet; quite pleasant flavour development on the palate, with vibrant acidity and a slight oxidative, nutty finish.

Herb, slate and wild flower aromas; good intensity, length and balance. Grampians/Henty/Pyrenees.

A firm bouquet with notes of herb and mineral; delicate, stoney/minerally entry, with more citrus on the finish.
