It makes sense that the Argentinians would be dabbling in tempranillo with their Spanish heritage, and this one from Dolium is quite a full-blooded version. Smells of plum jam, curry spices and a touch of dried fruits waft out of the glass, whilst the palate is soft, smooth and quite juicy, with gentle tannins and a succulent finish. This would be great with roast lamb or a goat ragu.
The colour is rich and intense ruby red. On the nose you can notice aromas of mulberry, dried figs and raspberry jam. In the mouth it has smooth and round tannins, with good balance and a long finish.
