Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
Gentle and willowy, with a heady fragrance of rose petals, black and red cherries, dark plums and reserved cedar/vanilla oak. Long, smooth and silky, its sappy, accentuated and faintly sour-edged expression of red cherries, plums and berries finishes with suppleness and poise, a persistent core of flavour plus lingering notes of cinnamon and licorice.

Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says
Very closed, deep and dark, this slowly-maturing pinot will take more than a decade to reveal its true personality. A light, floral perfume with scents of sweet cherries, blackberries and fresh cedar/vanilla oak reveals nuances of dried herbs and briar. Long and deeply concentrated, with dense flavours of dark cherries and plums tightly wound around a firmish, powdery backbone and new, fine-grained oak, it's compete and profoundly structured, finishing with a lingering core of fruit and a faint herbal aspect.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Deceptively light in colour and in its initial impact on the palate, but reveals great thrust and length to the spicy/ earthy/foresty flavours.
