Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The easy-drinking 2008 vintage, grown at Rapaura, in Marlborough, was oak-aged for nine months. Light ruby, it's a supple, mid-weight style with ripe plum and red-berry flavours, not concentrated, but enjoyable young.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The 2002 vintage was grown in the Rapaura district of Marlborough and French oak-aged for eight months. It's a solid but unexciting wine with smoky aromas, straightforward raspberry and cherry flavours and a slightly green, stalky finish.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage was grown in the Rapaura district of Marlborough and French oak-aged for 10 months. Ruby-hued, it shows some potential, with warm, ripe plum/cherry flavours, some savoury complexity and well-balanced tannins. It needs rime; open mid-2003+.
