There's a lot to like about torrontes. There's and echo of gewurztraminer in the variety as it is quite a highly perfumed beauty. Scents of florals, peaches and other topicals waft out of the glass, meanwhile the palate is lighter-bodied and fruity, with juicy line of apple-ike acidity, licks of musksticks, and a smooth, dry finish. Excellent with a range of foods from grilled fish to cured meats.
Pale yellow with greenish tone. Intriguingly aromatic, with a flowery fresh aroma, characteristic of young whites. Distinct smooth, delicate, and fruity flavor. Dry, light and elegant. Intense bouquet, with a hint of jasmine. Elegant structure. Good, balanced finish. Best when served with appetizers, salads, seafood, sushi, Chinese and Indian food.
