Jeremy Oliver (2012 Vintage) says
Varnishy, herbaceous aromas of red cherries and raspberries precede a simple, sweet and stewed palate that dries out towards a short, sweet-sour finish.

Clear crimson; the expressive bouquet offers red fruits, spice and floral notes; the silky palate has great texture, balance and length, French oak a backdrop to the delicious display of red fruits and cleansing acidity.

This has a lovely sheen of fragrant spice, some pepper too. Very complex as a young Pinot Noir, it offers some meaty notes, leafy elements and a core of bright boysenberry and purple cherry fruits _ there s a sense of full ripeness here too. The palate s lithe on entry, emphasised by nice linear tannins, building flesh and richness as it goes, heading through to gather ripe tannin at the finish with plum fruit flavours, good all-round balance and a light nutty aftertaste.

A lean, sappy, high acid expression of pinot likely to develop slowly but along classical lines. Its lightly minty and herbal fragrance reveals dusty, whole bunch-like scents beneath aromas of red cherries, berries and sweet vanilla oak. It's tight and restrained, likely to flesh out with time, with a silky, faintly sappy undercarriage supporting its elemental redcurrant-like fruit. It just needs a few years.

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Meaty complexity to the nose, with a spearmint lift. Sweet, perfumed fruit palate has good persistence of chalky tannins.

Sweet, perfumed fruit bouquet and attractive plum-like palate with a slight minty/medicinal edge.

WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Delicious aromas of cherries and plums. The palate is more in the ripe, fleshy, jammy style, with nice fruit sweetness. A good cellaring proposition.
