Dusky Sounds Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Dusky Sounds could be the name of a band, but it’s actually a winery turning out rather fine wines from Marlborough. The sound of applause is all you will hear when you pour this for your guests because it’s just so damn drinkable. It’s lifted with varietal grapefruit and citrus with some herbaceous edges. The palate is bursting with the tropical zing you’ve come to expect from proper Kiwi savvy and it ends with clean refreshing acids.

Winemaker's Notes

Nose: Lifted notes of fresh grapefruit, guava and nettles.

Palate: The palate is fresh with concentrated fruit flavours. Lively acidity provides a fresh crisp finish.

Food: Serve with seared fish with Asian spices and good friends.
