According to the wonders of Google translate it seems that El Prado means 'the meadow', a name which we think conjures up more images of daisies and Sounds of Music-esque dancing than ripe Spanish reds (but what do we know)? Regardless this is pretty handy vino, a blend of Spanish Tempranillo goodness coupled with some Cabernet for maximum drinking pleasure. Affable, ripe and craving chorizo!
This wine combines Tempranillo the premier Spanish grape with Cabernet Sauvignon. The result is a full bodied wine packed with blackcurrant fruit flavours and silky texture characteristic of the Tempranillo grape. It goes well with cold meats and simple pasta dishes.
