James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Clone MV6, Very good colour with slightly more purple than that of its sibling. Here the flavours stay in the satsuma/yellow plum spectrum, with an attractive twist and citrussy acidity on the finish.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Mid garnet; a surprisingly savoury bouquet of struck match, red fruits and Asian spices for the usually pure-fruited MV6 clone; the palate is silky, almost seductive on entry, firming up with fine tannins and a real cut and thrust from the mouth-watering acidity; long and expansive.

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
The MV6 clone is widely regarded around Victorian pinot producing regions to be a solid performer. Here it shows less of the flowery character of the other 2010 Eldridge Estate pinots, and there s a deeper shade of fruit here, dense cherry, almost plum-like. The tannin structure is completely unique: very rich, powerful, earthy tannin drive, should age really well.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
MV6. Slightly more colour development than its siblings; the bouquet is built around dark plum, as is the palate, the latter embellished with strong savoury notes and appropriately weighted tannins.

Aromatic and full of sweet strawberry/cherry fruit this silky wine is at once tender and pleasingly persistent for earlier drinking.

Clone MV6. A little more evolution here; slight confiture to the cherry fruit, with a bit of spicy oak overlay; quite dry and firm, with a touch of spicy stem character coming through on the finish.

Clone 777. Slightly more density, texture and ripeness than the varietal, adding a touch of plum to the bright fruit flavours.

Clone MV6. Deeper colour than all except 777 Clone; red and black cherry aromas and flavours; excellent length, finish and aftertaste.
