The debut 2005 vintage harbours 55 grams per litre of residual sugar and is sold in full (750-ml) bottles. The grapes were estate-grown in Te Muna Road and picked at 26 brix, with 20 per cent botrytis infection. Fresh scents of pears, lemons and honey lead into a light (10.9 per cent alcohol), lovely wine with ripe fruit characters, rich, citrusy, faintly honeyed flavours and excellent harmony.
