Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The generous 2009 vintage is a blend of Merlot (41 per cent), Cabernet Sa (38 per cent) and Malbec (21 per cent), grown in the Gimblett Gravels and matured for a year in French oak barriques. Deeply coloured, it is mouth filling, fresh and flowing, with strong blackcurrant and plum flavours, hints of coffee and oak, and gentle tannins. It should mature well
