Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The debut 2008 vintage was hand-picked in the Wairau and Awatere valleys and barrique-aged for a year. It's a sweet-fruited wine with fresh, ripe cherry and plum flavours, supple and strong. The 2010 (tasted prior to bottling, and so not rated) is rich and sweet-fruited, with fresh, generous cherry, plum and spice flavours and a well-rounded finish.
