Euroa Creeks Shiraz

Expert Reviews

Campbell Mattinson (2006 Vintage) says
Euroa is a flat warm landscape but its soils are interesting and the climate reliable; it should be an excellent place to grow shiraz. The only rein on the area is access to water. This hand-picked, handmade wine was matured in large 500 L oak. They only bottled 150 dozen of it. 2006 RELEASE Lots of juicy acidity and lots of rich flavour. It's a crowd pleaser but it's also got underlying substance. Juicy blackberry and dark cherry flavours, integrated chocolaty oak, a grainy earthiness and a long, succulent, structured finish. Look hard and you notice the odd herbal character - presented in the most attractive manner. I'm a big wrap for this; it will age majestically, DRINK 2011-2018.
