Made from a blend of 90% savvy and 10% picolit, it displays those banana, apple and pear tropicals on the nose, along with a whiff of jasmine. The palate is lighter-bodied but quite richly flavoured with nuts and apples, together with fine acidity, a talcy texture, and a decent fruity finish. Excellent with grilled white fish.
It charms us for its fragrance and intense perfumes, for its fruity notes, for its lengthy palate. Eclisse is a fine, elegant blend of Sauvignon Blanc and precious Picolit. The grapes are harvested from vineyards on the hills between Tarcento and Attimis where the very low yield per hectare is conducive to greater quality.
