Farr Rising Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A convincing pinot noir with a deep sense of harmony and integration here: ripe dark plum, plenty of spice, a sappy thread, dark cherry and a swirling fragrance. The palate s plush and composed, packed with ripe flesh that s pulled long and juicy with fine, muscular tannins that are both detailed and defied. Should evolve nicely.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Clear crimson-purple; an aromatic bouquet flush with spiced plum fruit, the palate with great drive, thrust and length, lingering long on the finish and aftertaste. As with all these '09 Farrs, sure oak handling has added a dimension.

Good hue and depth; has abundant plummy fruit and well above-average texture and structure; expands on the long finish and aftertaste.

Elegant and fresh; the fruit profile is sweeter than the by Farr, but no hint of anything amiss; beautiful weight and length; understated but stylish.
