Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
A large part of the reason why Felton is New Zealand's finest winegrower right now. An exuberant vintage, laden with violets, black cherries, exotic spice and potpourri, woven seamlessly with mineral tannins.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
Attractive savoury complexity and dense cherry/plum fruit aromas. Fine fragrance, plenty of deep fruit and light, fine-ground spices, sweet perfumed aromatics, minerals and a flash of oak char. The palate's supple and elegant, really refined, superb tannin climb to the finish, lifting bright cherry flavour on the finish. One of the greatest Felton pinots to date.
