Fermoy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Cracka Review

Colour is deep crimson with bright purple hue. Intensely lifted aroma of leafy cabernet and dried herb/plum influence from the merlot. The palate is full of flavour with ripe red berries that develop into mocha/briary flavours on the finish. The palate is multi layered with chewy ripe tannins and a good length.

Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
A highly perfumed and beautifully presented cabernet merlot blend. Black currant and light plum pudding characters. The palate is lush and juicy with a delicious dark fruit richness. Firmish supporting tannin and a touch of oak. Like the sinewy thread holding it on track.

Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Typical of this excellent vintage in Margaret River. Lifted perfumed notes of mint and black currant. The palate is medium weight with an effortlessly long finish. Excellent oak treatment with the ripe tannins in support. Little astringency completes the finish.
