Expert Reviews

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
Dusty, slightly herbal and tomatoey aromas of redcurrants, red plums, sweet leather and briar precede a leanish, greenish, forward and leathery palate that lacks genuine depth and drive. It's too herbal and lacking ripeness, and while it retains some elegance, it's just too angular and green-edged.

Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says
Finely oaked, deftly measured and balanced, this long, elegant red has a dusty, faintly smoky and floral bouquet of cassis, violets, raspberries, redcurrants and blood plums tightly knit with sweet cedar/vanilla oak. Supported by fine, dusty tannins, its measured, rather polished palate with bright small fruit and savoury, gamey oak is long and complete, finishing with a lingering note of spice.
