Cracka Review

Nero d'Avola is gaining some momentum in Australia, so it is worth trying one from the homeland of Nero d'Avola to dip your toe into the waters. It could be compared to shiraz as it shows black and red berry aromas on the nose, together with some pepper spice. The palate is quite soft and plummy with approachable tannins, bright acidity, and a dry, savoury finish. It's an awesome food wine that would go well with arancini.

Winemaker's Notes

Deep ruby-red. A nose of of currants, wild strawberries, and pomegranate. The palate is soft and velvety with distinct characteristics of fruitiness. Pairs well with Risotto, lamb and cheeses.
