Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
A most sophisticated wine made from largely shiraz but with smaller amounts of merlot, cabernet franc and viognier. The initial impact of the bouquet is compelling with the seductive mix of spices and perfumes. It all comes effortlessly together into a supremely elegant and stylish wine already showing complexity and generosity. The soft deliciously supple palate is supported with fine tannins and well weighted oak. A cracking good wine.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Notes of mint and gum leaf on the bouquet translate into a light- to medium-bodied savoury palate that doesn't quite come together.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Very spicy, leafy; minty, savoury characters surround the light- to medium-bodied blackberry and plum fruit at the core of the wine; a struggle for full ripeness, perhaps.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
A clean, fresh array of red and black fruits is the centrepiece, oak and tannins providing a pure support role; nice finish. Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Malbec.
