Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
Seductive from the first sniff. Certainly got me interested. Remarkably soft and supple Cabernet with almost cashmere fine tannins and an effortlessly smooth and long palate structure. Slightly chalky tannins add some balance and the follow though to the finish is extravagant and stylish.

Crimson-purple; blackcurrant, cedar and spice aromas slide effortlessly into the medium-bodied palate; here fine-grained tannins provide great texture and structure.

Just love this wine from the initial perfumed notes of mint, violets and red berry to the seductive appealing palate which is all silky sublime smoothness that cleverly conceals the power of the variety. Fine firm tannins and fine grained oak add backbone to the intense and substantial fruit. This is a classy cabernet that will cellar well over the medium term.

Remarkable retention of crimson hue; juicy berry fruit of medium weight complexed by quite firm tannins to provide length; still in its infancy.

Medium-bodied; fine, elegant, perfectly ripened/balanced cabernet fruit, with long and silky tannins woven through the cassis and blackcurrant flavours.
