Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
Fresh, tight and lively, the 2007 vintage has strong, appley flavours, abundant sweetness (21 grams/litre of residual sugar) and appetising acidity. Partly barrel-fermented, it has good flavour depth, vigour and aging potential.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The 2003 vintage was picked early, in the search for 'a Mosel-style wine with lower alcohol, residual sweetness and good natural acidity'. It's a high-acid style with lemony, appley flavours and a distinct splash of sweetness (20 grams/litre of residual sugar), but lacks real fragrance and freshness.
