Jeremy Oliver (2011 Vintage) says
Elegant and finely balanced, with a sweet floral fragrance of cassis, dark plums and smoky, chocolatey oak plus a long, fresh and evenly ripened palate whose juicy, pastille-like flavours of blackcurrants and blackberries knit tightly with fine, chalky tannins and cedar/vanilla oak, finishing with a lively acidity.
The Australian Wine Annual 2014 Edition 2014
Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
Rich, ripe and regional, scented with floral and faintly minty aromas of cassis, red berries and cedar/vanilla/mocha oak backed by spicy notes of clove and cinnamon. It's bright and juicy, with a pleasing length of deep, dark and briary blackberry and dark plum flavours framed by a slightly raw-edged extract that should integrate with time. It finishes with nuances of mint and menthol, plus a hint of mineral.

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
Very well made, this smooth, full to medium-bodied blend has a dusty, floral bouquet of blackberries, cassis and raspberries lifted by a scent of violets and backed by a hint of meatiness plus well-handled, fine-grained mocha oak. It's long and chalky, with a juicy, dark-fruited palate finishing with appealing persistence and balance, with a bright, fresh acidity.

A good effort. Very scented sweet berry juicy plump fruit soft and creamy low tannins and a lasting ripe fruit finish. Doesn't need food.

Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
The first impression of this deeply coloured shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc blend is nutty/savoury oak, sitting across liquorice and berry fruits. The palate is a direct juicy dose of plum fruit flavour, backed by fine dense tannins; young and brash.
Good Australian Wine Guide 2009 2008
James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
A delicious fruit-forward wine combining red and black fruits seamlessly, with a strong floral component providing allure; the palate is also fine, and runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Jeremy Oliver (2006 Vintage) says
Ripe and juicy, with confiture-like aromas of blackberries, blueberries, dark plums and cloves with meaty undertones of raisins and baked earth. Supported by firmish, loose-knit and slightly metallic tannin, its moderately rich palate finishes slightly cooked and jammy.
Australian Wine Annual 2009 2008
Jeremy Oliver (2005 Vintage) says
Flavoursome and approachable, with a dark, smoky, meaty and slightly baked and gamey bouquet of dark plums and berries supported by dusty cedar/vanilla oak. Its intense and moderately long expression of small black and red berries and plums is framed by a fine-grained, supple and loose-knit extract with just a slight metallic edge. Honest and not overcooked.
Australian Wine Annual 2008 2007
James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Distinctly savoury/earthy overtones to the bouquet, the flavours following much the same track with an earth, olive and black fruit mix. Includes some cabernet sauvignon.

Smooth, supple and moderately rich, It's intense, tight and focused, offering a pleasing length of fruit framed by dusty, chalky tannins.
