Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
Sourced from Great Western, fermented in oak and lees matured, this has a fine lime and lemon citrus nose with gentle marzipan and steely mineral notes; smells rich yet fresh. The palate is offdry with plenty of lime crush flavour, handy shape and length, with bright acid balance below.
Good Wine Guide 2013
James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Solidly built and structured, with ripe (but not sweet) fruit; fractionally heavy finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Delicate lemon zest and grapefruit-like aromas. Simple, well-balanced and very flavoursome lemon/lime palate. 3-5

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Finely structured, still wound up and tight, though the ripe apple and citrus flavours do soften slightly on the finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2008 2007
James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light green-yellow; a delicate, floral bouquet with apple blossom and hints of lime is followed by a similarly delicate palate, with fresh, ripe apple surrounded by a minerally structure. As ever, terrific value.
Australian Wine Companion 2003 2002
James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; the bouquet is very light, crisp and minerally, the lively, lemony palate lifted by a pretty strong dose of spritz (CO2). Once this subsides the wine will no doubt merit higher points.
Australian Wine Companion 2001 2001
James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Light green-yellow; the bouquet is light but intense with lime and herb aromas, and the palate has the same paradoxical fine but flavoursome, delicate yet intense lime juice flavour. Very pure, very appealing.
