James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
A complex wine with carefully controlled winemaker inputs, although the exclusion of the partial mlf portion might have left the wine with more precision; 400 cases made.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the moderately intense bouquet has appealing nectarine fruit and nicely integrated and balanced oak; the fresh and lively palate has excellent fruit focus, good length and subtle oak. Whole bunch-pressed, and 100 per cent barrel-fermented in French oak puncheons; 11 months on lees and partial mlf.

Ray Jordan (2001 Vintage) says
An almost delicate statement of chardonnay. It's got quite a bit of power hidden in there with deep cashew and stone fruit characters on the nose. The palate has nicely weighted oak well integrated into the excellent fruit. Gets the full hand crafted thing with hand picked fruit, whole bunch pressing and full barrel fermentation

James Halliday (2000 Vintage) says
Medium to full yellow-green; the bouquet has a curious nutty/biscuity edge, probably from the oak; nectarine and melon fruit come through strongly on the medium-bodied palate, which has nice balance and mouthfeel.
