James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
In typical elegant Garland medium-bodied style; fresh cassis/berry fruit, fine tannins and quality French oak seamlessly woven together. Cabernet Franc (80%)/Cabernet Sauvignon (20%).

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Meruum but bright purple-red; rich, ripe, complex blackberry/blackcurrant/cassis fruit aromas are followed by a fruit-driven palate, with mouthfilling blackcurrailtl cassis fruit and fine tannins. A blend of 88 per cent Cabernet Franc and 12 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon, and an outstanrung example of Cabernet Franc.

Ray Jordan (2001 Vintage) says
This is quite a bold attempt to do something serious with cabernet franc. It's about 88 per cent franc with the rest cabernet. The perfumed lifted aromatics of franc mix nicely with more concentrated black currant. Multi-layered complexity with spices, earth and dark plum characters. A silky velvety palate cut with some nice acid and dry firm tannins. A quality wine that will improve with age. Mind you it's excellent drinking now
