The 2009 vintage is a single-vineyards fed, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for a year in French oak barriques (20 per cent new). Enjoyable now, it is cherryish, plummy and spicy, with a hint of herbs, good, savoury complexity and a rounded finish.
