Geoff Hardy GMH Chardonnay

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Hailing from a 20-year-old+ vineyard in the Limestone Coast, this is a lightly-oaked style of chardy that shows tropical fruits and citrus on the nose, with just a touch of chopped herbs. The palate is lighter-bodied, with zesty flavours, crunchy acidity, and a dry, lip-smacking finish. It's not complicated, it's just a good drink!

Winemaker's Notes

The GMH Chardonnay 2012 is from the Wirrega Vineyard, situated northwest of Bordertown on the Limestone Coast. This vineyard was planted by Geoff in 1993 together with six other partners involved in the wine industry.

Appearance: Clear, pale lemon.

Nose: Aromas of zesty lime, green plum and mango.

Palate: The palate is balanced with crisp acidity and notes of green apple and fig. A fresh, fruity and refreshing Chardonnay!
