As tantalising as the thought is, this wine does not allude to a sexy threesome. However, it does contain an interesting three grape blend of semillon, viognier and fiano. Scents of stone fruits, pepper spice and dried herbs rise from the glass, whilst the palate is fresh and frisky, with stone fruit and citrus tastes, bright acidity, and a dry, refreshing finish. Great with seafood or light chicken dishes.
The GMH Mélange À Trois 2011 is one that caused quite a stir. The office was rife with rumours of a salacious Ménage A Trois happening in our midst. This, as it happens, turned out to be true! Not stating the obvious, we give you the rather suggestive Mélange A Trois. An exciting blend of three voluptuous varieties that together create perfect harmony.
Appearance: Brilliantly clear with subtle gold hues. NOSE: Pretty aromas of peach, apricot, pineapple and kumquat.
Nose: These delicate fruit aromas are perfectly balanced with underlying white pepper and fragrant herb notes.
Palate: The crisp palate has a very clean finish with a lingering acidity that delicately coats the mouth. A perfect ending to what can be a very rewarding relationship.
