Tyson Stelzer (2009 Vintage) says
Nantua is a nicely complex take on flavoursome Chardonnay showing plenty of honey and nuts, fine-ground baking spices, creamy complex lees work and a pure core of melon and stone fruits. Texture is sturdy - it finishes with creamed nougat flavour.

An impressive, complex and masterfully executed chardonnay that really captures the essence of all that's great about Beechworth's terroir in the hands of Rick Kinzbrunner. Scintillating fragrant, edgy nose with fine, fresh nectarine and citrus fruits, flinty at the edges, and dressed in beautifully cut oak. Terrific rolling palate texture and impressively weighted from start to finish - this has ripe pear and stone fruit flavour and creeping nutty nuances through the finish. It's just a pup, but delicious all the same.

Jeremy Oliver (2006 Vintage) says
Early-drinking, with brassy, cooked and candied aromas of peach, melon and lemon peel backed by sweet buttery vanilla oak and smoky leesy complexity. Ripe, juicy and forward, its rather broad and brassy palate of lemon tart, melon and confectionery fruit finishes with moderate length and soft acidity.

Very generous and quite advanced, with a spicy, mealy fragrance of flowers and fresh bark, melon and grapefruit, plus smoky, creamy, leesy undertones of nutty and clove-like complexity. Forward and buttery, its juicy and honeyed palate of vibrant citrus/melon fruit is framed by a slightly hard-edged acidity, finishing with a note of buttered corn.

Jeremy Oliver (2004 Vintage) says
Delicate, lightly smoky and toasty aromas of honeysuckle, grapefruit and honeydew melon precede a surprisingly ripe and punchy palate that reveals its punctuation and elegance as it travels down the palate. Medium to full in weight, it's long and brightly flavoured, finishing with clean, lemony acids.
