Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage is a single-vineyard Gibbston wine, tank-fermented and made in an off-dry style (14 grams/litre of residual sugar). Medium-bodied, it is slightly Germanic, with crisp acidity woven through its lemony, slightly peachy and appley flavours, which show good depth.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
From a vineyard at Gibbston, in Central Otago (not associated with the Gibbston Valley winery), the 2008 vintage was harvested at 22.7 brix and mostly handled in tanks; 20 per cent was barrel-fermented. Scented, it's a dry wine (2.3 grams/litre of residual sugar) with satisfying depth of citrusy, appley flavour.
