The 2010 vintage was grown mostly at Rapaura, in the Wairau Valley, and tank-fermented; 5 per cent of the blend was matured in old French oak barriques. A punchy wine with lifted, 'sweaty armpit' aromas, it has an intense palate, with rich gooseberry and lime flavours, very fresh, crisp and long.
