Gillan Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
Since the vibrant, lush 1994 vintage won the trophy for top Sauvignon Blanc at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards, this has been a consistently satisfying, well priced wine. Tasted in August 1999, the 1994 is bright yellow/green, fresh and rounded, its rich tropical fruit and herbal flavours layered with toasty, honied complexities from bottle-aging. The 1998 vintage is fresh and weighty, with rich, very ripe and delicate, passionfruit and citrus flavours and balanced acidity in a deliciously lively, lush style.
