Glenpara Lost Garden Grenache Rose

Cracka Value Rating

Cracka Review

Glenpara is the new name of a very old face in the Barossa Valley. When Seppeltsfield found its way back into private hands in 2007 the decision was made to create a new line of still wines, and wines that respected the grand history of the place, dating back to the 1850’s. If you have never been to Seppeltsfield it is a must-see on any trip through the Barossa Valley.

This wine here is actually the first recent vintage of the Glenpara Rose, although the first Glenpara vines were planted in the 1850’s and exported soon thereafter. Bright red in colour with the most gorgeous perfume of flowers and red fruit with some lovely balanced sweetness in the mouth this is a top-shelf Australian Rose. No surprise the wine is smashing it on the show circuit.

Winemaker's Notes

Colour: Pale rose pink Nose Strawberries and cream.

Palate: Juicy red berries, slight mid palate sweetness, crisp finish.
