Gordon Hills Estate Chardonnay

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Here we have a wine with its head in the clouds, well almost. Hailing from the Orange wine region of NSW, it's grown at 900m up the side of Mount Canobolas, so it is a super-cool chardonnay. Scents of white stone fruits and lemon citrus swirl around the glass, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied, lightly-oaked and dry with that citrus pushing through again to a dry, minerally finish.

Winemaker's Notes

The wine shows great colour and an inviting nose leaning to citrus and white peach and is textural on the palate with hints of minerality and subtle winemaking.

Palate: Citrus orientated with a light oak influence.
