Ray Jordan (2003 Vintage) says
A mix of chenin blanc semillon and verdelho. This is a wine that's been created for immediate drinking. Fresh tropical fruits with a fine lingering acid. Right on the money for current quaffing. Edgy grassiness is quite attractive

Very much in the fuller, riper, softer, more tropical-fruit flavoured spectrum, this is a drink-soon white wine.

Light to medium green-yellow; a clean, moderately intense bouquet offers grassy/lemony fruit; the light to medium-bodied palate is conventional, no frills, dry and minerally. A silver medal at the Griffith Wine Show displayed on the label says much.

Rapid expansion has been the order of the day since Jack Bendat took over this Mount Barker winery: production is now over 200 000 cases per year. Their vibrant semillon sauvignon blanc blend represents good value: it has ripe, passionfruit perfumes, a round, pulpy texture, a neat balance between tropical fruit and herbaceous, grassy flavours and some crisp, cleansing, green acidity.
