WINESTATE (2011 Vintage) says
Lovely soft nose - smells of custard apples. Nicely balanced palate showing excellent depth of sweet, fruit flavours.

Some light pear skin characters on the nose. Very soft in the mouth, with crunchy pear flavours.

Big fruit salad aromas with a hint of ginger. Interesting palate that has an oily texture and tight pomme fruit flavours. Cellaring potential. 1-2

Delicate floral nose with a peppery lift. A touch oily in the mouth, with citrus and stone-fruit flavours.

Nick Stock (2007 Vintage) says
Named after a small section of Glen Para where this fruit is sourced, it's a fairly neutral affair; the melon fruits are simple and fresh. The palate is ripe and fleshy, more in the poached apple spectrum, some honey and sweet chalk to finish.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Classic apple, pear, spice and musk aromas; the lively palate has good length and a crisp finish; a particularly good example of pinot gris.
