Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
This is an impressive cabernet. Has the typical cooler climate elegance of this vineyard with fine silky tannins and beautiful medium to full bodied fruit on the palate. Has a nice mix of leafy red berry and cedar on the nose. The palate has a tight linear structure but with the quality fruit it should develop given time in the bottle.

Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Lifted scented perfumed notes on the nose with floral and cedar nuances merging delightfully. The palate is neatly integrated with firm slightly assertive tannins and some grainy oak. It's still very tight and really needs a few more years to come around and begin to show its best.

Ray Jordan (2005 Vintage) says
I expected this would be a pearler from this vintage and it didn't let me down. Power-packed Cabernet with those black olive and black currant nuances of this region. Powerful robust tannins and concentrated Cabernet fruit. Excellent oak use has completed the picture.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Significantly more structure and depth than the Shiraz; solid blackcurrant fruit and supporting tannins.
