Greenhough Nelson Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
Andrew Greenhough aims for a 'rich Sauvignon Blanc style with ripe, creamy mouthfeel' - and hits the target with ease. The 2003 vintage is outstanding. The 2004 was harvested from the Avery and Barnicoat vineyards at Hope, at three different levels of ripeness. Most of the blend was handled in tanks, but 5 per cent was fermented in new American oak. Bone-dry, it's a strongly varietal wine, punchy and aromatic, with crisp melon/capsicum flavours showing excellent vigour and intensity.
