Michael Cooper (2012 Vintage) says
Fleshy and sweet-fruited, ripely herbaceous style with good poise and delicacy, a touch of complexity, fine acidity and a lingering finish. Good, subtle "food" wine.

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
A mix of grass, sweet, dark herb leaves and tropical fruits on the nose here; bright, sweet, fragrant melon fruit too. The palate has plenty of tropical flavour but the sweetness sits up a little. Some yeasty influence through the finish.

WINESTATE (2010 Vintage) says
Crisp, punchy, partly barrel-fermented style, intense, tight and racy. Concentrated, with an array of grapefruit, melon and lime flavours, showing excellent vigour, and a dry, long finish.

Attractive, bright tropical fruits here - really pure and lively, and seductively fresh. The palate's pinned down with crisp acid that takes fleshy tropical and stone-fruit flavours well into the finish. Excellent, juicy savvy.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Ripely scented, with good weight, fresh, delicate melon and herb flavours, a minerally streak and good intensity. 5% barrel-fermented.

Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
Intense pear fruits, sweet fragrant aromatics and impressive intensity, this is a striking style emanating from the Waipara region near Canterbury. The palate has decent chew and cut, there's plenty of acidity to back up rich stone fruit and pear flavours, gentle tropical finish.
